MECHANISM OFCOUGH

Coughing is a reflex defensive action that can clear the secretions from the respiratory tract. The effects of any other treatmentsuch as the improvement of secretions, the loosening of sputum in the airways, etc., wll ultimately require coughing to expel thesecretions. However, many patients have weakened couch rellex due to varlous diseases, and the peak cough low rate is lowelthan 160L/min, resulting in weak expectoration.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

The sputum expectorator can produce suction effect on the whole respiratory system through positive and negative pressuresuction + rapid switch to negative pressure suction, and obtain a higher cough peak flow rate.

ADAPTIVE POPULATION

Neurological diseases (ALS, SMA, myasthenia gravis and spinal cord injury).The patient can't cough spontaneously or the peak velocity of cough is less than 160L/ minutes (ineffective cough). The peak flowrate of normal cough is 360-1000L/ minutes.

Patients with weak cough function.

Patients with chronic respiratory diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD),atelectasis, etc.

Patients with tracheotomy.

Non-invasive expectoraion machine can exercise palients' atelectasis, and through long-term periodic exercise. it can reduce olimprove patients" lung function, airway obstruction and so on.Pulmonary rehabilitation patients.

Exercise chest muscles, assist deep breathing to help dilate the lungs and prevent local atelectasis
